As building practices and client trends change, architects must be able to change with them. As a partner of our communities and our region, Casey + DeChant Architects is committed to incorporating sustainable design practices into all of our designs. We believe this end requires far more than simply applying a "green" veneer to the project. It requires starting the design process with these practices and a defined goal in mind.
Responsible design starts with optimizing land usage, whether starting with a fresh site, performing urban infill, or revitalizing existing structures. This means finding the greatest balance between the built and natural environment, thereby creating a great value both for the client and for the end-users.
